Tuffnel Park
Status: Concept + schematic design
We developed proposals for two villa houses with an adjacent apartment block on a highly constrained Network Rail site. The villa houses are designed as a contemporary reinterpretation of the adjacent Georgian villa houses.
The slim format brick is applied both internally and externally with recessive elements clad in blackened hot rolled steel panels.
The living spaces of the villa houses are arranged around a full height void and a timber feature stair, creating a open environment with visual connections between functions.
