We design residential and commercial projects that respond to their sites and work with natural systems, using material choices and construction techniques—ancient and contemporary—that create durable, low-impact, and timeless architecture.
Our work focuses on sustainable homes, with particular experience in coastal environments. Materials emerge from careful observation of each site—its geology, ecology, and cultural context—rather than from a predetermined palette. Where possible, we draw on sustainable and ancient construction methods, such as rammed earth, stone, timber and bamboo. For us, the future looks ancient.
Time spent in the ocean has shaped how we approach design. As surfers, learning to read natural forces informs architecture that is carefully positioned, resilient, and deeply connected to its setting. We work internationally with clients who value thoughtful design, material honesty, and architecture that supports both people and the living world.
