We design residential and commercial projects that respond to their sites and work with natural systems. We draw on traditional and contemporary ways of building to create durable, low-impact, and timeless architecture.

Our work focuses on sustainable homes, with particular experience in coastal environments. Materials emerge from careful observation of each site, its geology, ecology, and cultural context, rather than from a predetermined palette. We bring ancient building knowledge into conversation with contemporary techniques, working with rammed earth, stone, timber, and bamboo where they belong. We seek to create enduring, low-impact spaces that deepen our awareness of our surroundings. For us, the future looks ancient.

Time spent in the ocean has shaped how we approach design. As surfers, learning to read natural forces informs architecture that is carefully positioned, resilient, and deeply connected to its setting.
